Hands on History Camp
Explore 1,000 years of Tennessee history, from the ancient Mississippian Indians to early frontier history. Experience creative projects, from candle dipping, gorget making to even an occasional flour bomb fight!
June and July
9:00am-3:00pm
Ages 7-14
Cost: $175

Jr. Docent Training & Leadership Camp
Experience history from the inside out!  Develop teaching and leadership skills while fostering a commitment to service.  One week of training, one week of leadership.
June 2010

Ages 9-14
Cost: $300 for two weeks
Docent Campers receive 50% off any additional camp sessions.

History's Mysteries Camp
Travel on an adventurous journey through some of Nashville's most interesting museums. Along the way, be challenged with a mysterious-minded scavenger hunt.  Gather clues and use them to solve the mystery.  Become your own history detective!

Creative Arts Camp
Join us for a week filled with creative and unique art projects, learning the art and history behind each one from our experienced art staff. Your projects are displayed in the Creative Art Gallery Showing the last day.

Adventures in History Camp
Morning Session - 9:00am-11:45am - Civil War Camp
Become a soldier of the North or South and learn what life was like during the battle.  From drills to surgery, experience your own adventure!
Afternoon Session - 12:15pm-3:00pm - Frontier Adventure
Travel back in time to when Nashville marked the western frontier and wild animals like bear and buffalo still roamed freely. Learn about the adventures of famous frontier heroes while experiencing your own!
July August
Ages 7-14
Cost: $95 each, both sessions $175
*Bring a sack lunch and stay for both sessions of Adventures!
