Not So Overnight Scouts

A Not-Quite Overnight at Travellers Rest Plantation
Imagine the year is 1828 and you are paying a visit to Judge Overton at Historic Travellers Rest. The Judge would most likely have other visitors and before long a simply party would be in place. You and the other guests would find ways to be entertained. Perhaps a country dance would be called or someone would suggest a turn at drawing silhouettes. It's possible you might find amusement in a newly invented optical illusion device called a thaumatrope. Of course, spooky stories and harrowing legends could always be counted on to pass the time. So…take a journey back into a time without video games, television and computers…it might just be more fun than you could ever imagine!
