Go on a self-guided Scavenger Hunt at Travellers Rest Plantation and earn the "Travellers Rest" patch! Armed with a map and clues, Scouts and Leaders will search the grounds to find answers to our ridiculous riddles. Program package includes a guided tour of the historic house, scavenger hunt, and "Travellers Rest" patches for the scouts.

Go on a self‐guided Civil War Scavenger Hunt at Travellers Rest Plantation and earn the Travellers Rest patch! Armed with a map, clues and spy code ‐ scouts and leaders will solve clues, decode spy messages and uncover secrets. The scavenger hunt will reveal the secret spy hidden at Travellers Rest. Program package includes: guided tour of the historic house, scavenger hunt, pencils, and Travellers Rest patches for the scouts and a treasure reward.

A Not-Quite Overnight at Travellers Rest Plantation
Experience Travellers Rest Plantation under the stars! Scouts will participate in an evening of folk tales and folk art. Your adventure will begin with a candlelight tour of the historic house, then frontier tales by the fire and some fun folk art activities like making old fashion silhouettes and paper lanterns. There will also be some fun surprises in store! So join us for an exciting evening and experience history by candlelight!
